Holy shit I would totally write this. It sounds like Gomer Pyle USMC threw up all over Metal Gear.

It's way more wholesome than the "Snake's Revenge was all a hallucination by a traumatized Snake in a military hospital after MG1" fic I'm fighting with right now.

STALKING IS NEVER WRONG. AND YES, THE COOKIES ARE NOT A LIE. I AM TOLD THAT MINE ARE ~PRETTY GOOD.

I haven't played SR but that sounds beautifully plausible and I would totally read it. The only MGS fic I've been cooking lately is a mashup with Ac!d that's based on an S3 prompt about Snake and Fox being noir detectives together, only it got a bit out of hand... I got into something else and haven't produced anything postable yet, and now it's FFEX time so I don't expect any further progress at the moment. :(
