I'm finished with Deletion, at least for now, at least in ways that don't involve eviscerating the horrible prose or failing to make the numbers remotely work. Almost 21k total insofar as it is an it. If someone shoots me, will I wake up?

OKAY! I am having an I-feel-better-about-it day and I even managed to link it in a couple of places this morning (my FF.N profile and a comm I knew of that broadly shares my view of canon but which I wasn't a member of til this morning.) Thankyou, love. Am glad you don't think it sucks. ;____;

Uh-uh. I could have written something this long in two weeks, but it wouldn't have been this good. Now I'm going back over every sentence of RD trying to make them not clunk, and just don't know what to do to fix them, because either the words suck or the characters just act too stagey. Admittedly most of the worst offenders are bits I wrote a few years ago, but still.
