Re. small world: Fly quoting Bill Drummond on the cycle of writing music, which reads as basically the same as the cycle of writing prose except in that it consumes actual money rather than that energy that you spend and then get more of every day that you're alive. Apart from being a pioneering IRL troll, Drummond is the instigator of No Music Day - which is (or was - he only intended for it to run from 2005-2009) next Sunday, and he began his career as a professional ILLUMINATUS! fanboy.

Re. me being a terrible human being - the scene that's spun out of my Friday night wtfery has just developed a name, and it's d.f/Waterloo. I am so nonfunny, brb loling anyway. This being the Monday of Drummond's eternal cycle, I am really digging the dynamic of it even though I've realised it's not set at the point that really gets to me.

Connexion between the two - I should not have stayed up til 5am last night; the wordcount was not large enough to be worth it. Now I need to get to bed, probably can't, and the wordcount is still not worth it.
