gah, I need to Do Stuff but am lacking in wakefulness and alone-time; fortunately the next couple of days should provide it. Dee came over for the weekend, which was lovely but means I am cramped somewhat. I did manage to apply for A Thing I want to do, and even though I am aware I won't get it due to being supremely unsuitable, applying made me happy.

Also, I got a parcel from Ting! There is tea! I haven't tried it yet, but it should be interesting, because tea is in a freezer bag and there are absolutely no indications as to what kind of tea it is.

A pretty girl who gets it said randomly nice things about my figure today, which is a spur to get back to the running thing. I won't pretend I know her well, but I'm more open with her than most of the people I know IRL, and it's partly because of this undercurrent of emotionality which weaves in and out of her voice. She's just started reading A Game Of Thrones and I had to tell her how much it frustrated me.

I have reached that point of the day at which I do not know whether to give up and try to get more sleep or stay awake until something happens. fail.

I've had alone-time and sleep, at least; and I stayed awake and something happened. The tea from Ting is British, as she went to Scotland recently! Yay!
