Keep typing things and then deleting them.
Tomorrow I start work two hours later than usual, which should not be a reason to be awake three hours later than usual and still drinking coffee, especially because I'm not even fucking writing even though there is so much I want to write. I feel stalled, partly because the latest new idea to arise from the fic is major enough that I'm hesitating over it even though it's much more interesting than what I'd originally thought would happen. Incidentally the detour now has a detour, and it is unutterably terrible.
Computer is majorly dying and I have no idea what I can do about this. The graphics settings keep defaulting to the most basic levels possible, and it now gets temperature crashes if I open too many tabs, or if I play SMACX. I have abandoned the case entirely and bought it a wee desk fan but it keeps getting worse. I don't know what exactly is making it overheat all the time. I don't know how to replace a CPU. Replacing the graphics card would be a very irritating thing to have to do because of the AGP problem - there's nothing good I can get, nothing cheap I can get, and anything I do get could never be transferred over into a new PC. So the only thing I can really do about it, at all, is look for a job that pays actual money.

It might die on you and I don't think it will play games at this point -- but if you just want something that will browse the nets and can have writing done on it -- it might still be good enough for that so long as you don't let it get too hot.
I wanted to ask before when it wasn't quite as fail-tastic as it is now, but since yours seems to be on its last legs too -- do you want it? It seems marginally less dead than yours.
