Last night, M dragged me out to see Scott Pilgrim vs The World. Not impressed. I don't like chick flicks, and there was only one good character in it (the 17-year-old azn girl). Srsly; it had some good direction and I thought it was stylistically really neat but the story inside that swish packaging was godawful, and there was this one scene in the middle that was full of really upsetting fail re. bisexual women, so forgive me if that filled me with personal distaste towards the rest of the film on the grounds that said film conducted itself with personal distastefulness towards me. I mean god forbid any woman identify as queer, that just wouldn't be sexy.
