Okay, look, I'm enjoying the whole Romney tax drama as much as the next shitstirring Obamabot (I think I forgot to tell you the story about our first cyborg president) but it seems to me that the whole issue is far too wonky to support its supposed traction. What's really bugging me is that I can't for the life of me figure out what could be so bad about the tax returns he's not releasing. If there's fraud in there? The IRS would already be prosecuting him. If (as one Obama ad suggests) he's been paying 0% tax in some years, I am not at all sure that more people would be offended than approving of that (see American public, intelligence of, estimations thereof). He's already admitted to keeping most of his money offshore and Obama is hammering him for it already, so what else could be such a big deal that he'd tell the IRS about it but not the rest of us? I don't get it.

So, about our cyborg future; C, bless him, has a coworker who is a conspiracy theorist, Paulbot, birther, etc. When the ACA got upheld, she told C in a panic that this meant that Obama would soon be implanting monitoring chips into all American residents in order to effect total social control.

First cyborg president? I would fraudulently vote the shit out of that. Please sign me up.
