because apparently I need to start appending a note to all my IRL entries saying 'nb may change without warning for no fathomable reason.'

So. Previously in the Adventures of Thene Fails At Everything we went to try to extend our lease to the end of the month, were told 'hahahaha no maybe an extra couple of days at most' and had therefore planned on being out by next Tuesday, as we'd originally planned. Today Dee turned weird and started passagging us about the whole Tampa situation (this turned out to be related to her other son, the klepto shithead drama-addict with the wife who is appreciably worse, but never mind that), and we went to find out if we could indeed get those extra couple of days, and they say 'yeah you're good until the middle of February.'

sigh sigh sigh, we have said so many goodbyes at this point and I was secretly looking forward to Tampajob because it would have got me out of having to work for D.M. again this year, BUT HEY. so. we're here, and we're staying here until shortly before we leave for London in late feb, at which point we will indeed go to Tampa, if only for a few days to visit & stuff. I get to call Tampadude and tell him how sorry I am to have bothered him, I'll call D.M. too and see if she still needs me (and if she doesn't then Dani K will but the commute up to hers is hella annoying and they watch Fox News in the office all the damn time), and then I'll presumably do what I was doing this time last year and work a few shifts a week at each job (if job a still need me at all, anyway.) M will probably have a lot of work here in February but not so much right now. The money isn't that important anyway, I just like the feeling of not bleeding to death kthnx plus complete employment records look kinda nice.

now I am going to go hide in my bed and write porn until it is safe to come out.
