-I did indeed have today off. I h8 this week, I only worked as many hours as I would in a normal work-week but it was over 6 days, not 5. Having to take extra days off (and more of them than we thought, because we had no idea they didn't open on Monday 21st until today) to get to Miami is going to hurt. fuck everything. It's just...it's not like there's anything we've not tried. Several times. We've moved every piece of furniture. We don't own much and oh god have we been through it. it's just. if we'd been able to buy the tickets in October like we wanted to, we would have realised then and it would have been fine. much cheaper. as would the tickets have been (and we were never able to afford those anyway). we are constantly chasing moving targets and it is so hard to even get there, let alone be able to do anything for anyone once we're there. There is just nothing left.

-I've been sick, AGAIN, but am mostly better now. What is it about all the sick :( Normal breathing has mostly resumed, but ack.

-I would really like to write as much today as I did last friday; the most productive thing to do would be to face up to some of the scrawled stuff in my notebook, but all I've done is jot down the first few lines of something really terrible I latched on to a while ago that will probably never go anywhere, and the last few lines of something that might.
