today:
-had staffing firm interview for Shiny Job Of My Dreams
-stumbled out into streets shaking like leaf, wandered into Starbucks for a tiny cup of overpriced liquid sugar
-accepted that I had no idea where I was. Asked nearest person for directions to nearest station
-person explained that they didn't know, on account of being British
-further investigation revealed that she was from the same street in West London as me.
I like today even if I don't get the job!

(Shiny job was being a junior tax analyst at an asset management firm. Most of the jobs I am applying to rn are in asset management, because I am a terrible human being. They also mostly require qualifications I don't really have, but the staffing people seem not to sweat this much).
