(no subject)

Last night I went out dancing at a cute place just off Mass Ave; first time in years, and my knees hate me, but I got to meet some lovely new people and do some quality people-watching. The most striking difference from life in ATL is that there's straight guys who aren't too shit-scared to get up and dance. I don't know for sure that it's the place rather than it being an actualfax alt scene, but I've missed that mix of presentations and ages ([livejournal.com profile] myz_lilith once spoke of the twentysomething thirtysomething fortysomething Leeds conglomerate and it's true and I bet that the older I get the more I'm going to need it). And I stole away sore-kneed and sat by the blaring fan in the back bar and wrote a bit more of my FFEX, and no one bothered me. THANK YOU.

WE SAW A BUNCH OF PEOPLE ALL OUT CYCLING TOGETHER AT LIKE 11PM AND ONE OF THEIR BIKES HAD A DISCO BALL MOUNTED ON IT. ALSO THERE WERE THESE GUYS WHO HAD T-SHIRTS PROUDLY SAYING THEY WERE THE 'SEVEN DEADLY SINS BAR CRAWL' AND PRIDE WAS WEARING A RAINBOW SASH AND TIARA.

I LIKE CAMBRIDGE.
