i mean it this time
This whole piling out of GA thing is not going that badly right now; we gave ourself tons of leeway and are now at the point where we want to leave tomorrow but seemingly won't be able to do so until it's too late in the day for it to be pointful, so we're looking at doing the driving to Tampa part on Monday morning. Monday is my birthday, but lol, I spent my last two birthdays in FL for no damn reason and so this whole thing is mostly just funny. I hope to god my in-laws didn't get me anything this year. M, at least, grasps how much I need more stuff in my life right now. :/
I am all stress and rage rn, but I'm trying to hold tight and we're really not so far from done with this place now, and I'm glad. It's weird, leaving all this lulling convenience. We are past the point of being able to cook much and the guy who delivered our lovely Vietnamese dinner exhorted me to complain to our landlord about the tilted bits of concrete that leave us all wading through two or three inches of water to get to the steps whenever it rains, and we are moving, so of course it is fucking raining like woah.

Anyway, rejecting simple answers is a sign of maturity. So I hope you are enjoying/have enjoyed your birthday. And send the rain our way - England is heading towards drought.

I can finally go read it nowish, as I am at my sister's house and there is wifi and I appear to have found a cord that can charge my netbook. HOW LONG WILL THIS LAST.
