This makes no sense esp as I was having tons of fannish glee in other ways yesterday, and it would be absurd to think of one kind of fannish glee generation as especially superior to another because ffs it's all just having fun on the internet anyway.

i don't even know how you would choose, there are so many of them. (The one I always think of as being the worst was killed in the Great Purge of 2002, and honestly I don't think it was that bad on Zarla's scale, I am just seriously oversensitive about people badtouching my OTP with their failporn). I, erm, probably still have some interesting URLs in my FFN review history. I used to go on flame binges back then because I was a horrible human being. I'd worry about sporking being kinda a mean thing to do in a small fandom were it not for the fact that in almost all cases it would be ancient history.
