long hot winter
(changed layout again, a few things about the last one were just too annoying)
no really, I just went to turn the heating off and the central fan on AGAIN and discovered that the heating was already of and the central fan was already on. I am not turning on my fucking AC on the winter solstice. I have, at least, been assured by locals that this weather is weird.
Thinkpan is thoroughly scorched. Been staring at same line for forever, not sure if the problem is the deliverer, the delivery, or the fact that this is a complete trainwreck anyway. Attempting to turn this into plot point, belatedly remembered that there is no plot.
I really need to wrap this stretch up and flip WIPs again because I am obsessing over Alice/Minette again. Oh Minette what I really want to know is how you get away with it. I think it's the self-awareness and the homicidal mania. I am giving her a warhead to dismantle and a piano to play and she is going to sit there ploinking out Different Strings on it while everyone else goes to war.
