this is a helpful diagram of everything that is wrong with american society!
failgasms aside; Pittsburgh is beyond improbable. It's far too big for its geographical confines. It makes Leeds look politely horizontal. It's beautiful, and M says it is beyond stupid that it exists and we are not going to live here.
But we think we're not going to live here.
The whole Boston thing is scarier, because living in London with shit work or none was miserable as hell and even the people I knew there I couldn't afford to spend time with. We were so, so happy in Boston last week. I wish I had any reason to believe I will ever have a job that pays a living wage ever, but it's worth a shot and if it doesn't happen we know where to try next.
M is itching to get home and start packing. I am busy being terrified of existing, feeling feelings, etc.
