and in fail news;
The pulley that raises one of the front windows in our car has unravelled. We can't even pull the damn thing up and have it stay up, and we can't both fix it and pay the rent (hi, we can barely pay the rent), so this is a duct tape & binliner situation for right this moment; we had great fun taking the door panel off to look at all the wiring and pulleys and stuff in there, and established that the motor is fine and we could probably fix the pulley ourself if we could just a) get at it properly and b) replace this one tiny bit of yellow plastic that broke into 3 pieces.

I was really exhausted and napped all evening, which is annoying because I need to bake for someone, I have a fish that needs eating, and yesterday I started something so awful it'll prob. never see daylight and wanted to kill it asap. gaah. coffee.
