(yeah, I just changed my Dw layout for the first time in ages.)
It is so beautiful outside today. this place we live, it's a one-bedroom basement flat and moving away from it is one of my most immediate life goals but i have formed an understanding with its roots, in the literal sense of literally.

I'm honestly not used to what 'middle of the city' even means in this kind of environment. Totally different kind of urbanisation from what I'm used to; much less dense, but there's that feeling of the land having its own parallel existence that goes on around the patches that human beings have cut out of it to live on.

I get what you mean, actually. It's just that the city I live in now is more like a proper city, whereas places like Marietta are just a sprawling jumble of shopping centers and business parks. But, then, Marrieta is a suburb of Atlanta, isn't it?
