apparently when I say 'LOUNGE IN BED ALL DAY' what I mean is 'work on immigration issues, haggle with our broadband provider and clean all the things.' I am back in bed and writing now, which is good because my FFEX file had been stuck at 9999 words for the last couple of days (no, really), but bad because I'm having information flow issues (letting people know things they haven't yet had an opportunity to learn, needs more exposition bridges, etc), and Laguna Loire is talking to trees. Why have I never written this guy before, he is amazing.
This whole TWO DAYS OFF thing would be great if I didn't, due to Easter, have three days off next week, which is just going to drive me batshit. If I can, I may use one of these to have the lady from Norway teach me to knit (she says it is part of my culture and I have to learn it). I should also kind of massively start applying for new jobs. I do feel like I've had a boost in that regard; not just that getting into my job b was easy, but it was doable with only one car so I am less fretful about my practical limits than I was before. but oh god I hate jobhunting :/// One of the two people I was worried for got offered a part-time bookkeeping job by one of our recent clients yesterday, so yay for her! I am still worried about the other - a graceful and soft-spoken ex-Londoner whose off-season profession defaults to chef, which is not the easiest thing to find a job in right now. :(
I hope I can use today to stop being tired.
Dar isn't holding the world together right now but she's getting me through the byebye-nice-job comedown.
