REASONS I LOVE HAVING AN AMAZING BLUE NETBOOK:

TORNADO SIRENS.

the hardest part was getting Precious to come hide in the closet with us, i swear to god

incidentally this is the first time I have ever been alone during a tornado alert. I really do need a safe American to hold my hand at such times because my brain was all YAY LET'S ALL GO OUT FOR A WALK. :////

The sirens woke me up at 4 AM and I just went, ah, fuck it. My apartment's dead center of the building, anyway.

I am amazingly nonchalant about severe weather, alas, so this American would have probably gone on a walk with you. Despite the fact that only a few years ago a tornado really fucked up a neighboring community's shit, so it actually is something I ought to be concerned over.

And yet I am afraid of raw chicken. My priorities, let me show you them.

Uh huh, mte. I LOVE stroms; it'll be rainging like crazy and I'll be all, okay I'm going to the store! And my roommate is like...why are you going out, you're crazy, you're going to get in a wreck. Weather isn't something that's ever worried me. I worry about money, too, but I also worry that I have cancer or that my broken wisdom tooth will abscess and I'll die of sepsis. Or I'll get salmonellosis from undercooked chicken. I was already ever so slightly germphobic, then I took ServSafe. So now it's a full-blown Thing. Although now I'm worried less about 'regular' germs and more about foodborne pathogens. I fucking hate</>/fear raw chicken. And raw beef to a lesser extent, but chicken just buwah.
