FRIENDS: WHY I DON'T DESERVE THEM
I am, as I think you-all know, iffy about people giving me things because I don't want to own anything I'm not using and I am sucky about giving people things in return because I am fucking broke.
Ting sent me a freaking netbook that her mother did not want. I may never leave my bed ever again. Ever.
Oh god, I am typing this surrounded by pillows and puppies. It is small and blue and amazingly relaxing and I am still at the point of 'what does this object do for my life' (though ironically my dear old minidesktop overheated and crashed while I was busy setting this thing up; my survival, it is assured.) It does relaxedness and quiet place for words to go and knowing I could write before work if I wanted.
Ting alleged that the whole poing was that netbook use encouraged MOAR WRITINGS but I am so not wordy right now /fail but. god. why am i so goddamn fortunate in the friend department srsly? not even in the PEOPLE GIVING ME TOTALLY UNWARRANTED THINGS regard but just in that they exist and are lovely and intelligent and huggable. ;____;
