You know you're an insomniac when it's 3.30am and you're sat up reading trashy, disposable butch/femme porn for the plot. In my defence, I'm not working again til Thursday afternoon but oh why the fuck am I not remotely tired. :////////

Funny, I prefer *watching* girl porn, and *reading* guy porn. I can read all kinds of weird, kinky gay male porn, but show me an actual penis and I am subject to fits of giggles. And het bores me to tears, except for Zoe/Wash.

hrm, I don't like watching porn, and readingwise...I'll go for anything that hits my buttons, but I am so not into het romance, and my big fandom secret is that m/m porn usually doesn't do anything for me. (to get more gratuitously tmi: I think it's just about acts for me, being as I lack a strong preference when it comes to genitalia, and after being in slash fandom for ~9 years I am through with anal sex. bored of it. keep promising myself not to force me to write it any more (though hey sometimes it just happens). F/f is fun either way, though.

aaah Zoe/Wash ;_________; Firefly fandom is surprisingly good at het. I was never that deep in the fandom but I read some genuinely non-boring Mal/Inara and Jayne/River. Needed more River/Saffron though.

I freely admit, that when it comes to non canon pairings, but *especially* slash, I need to be able to believe that there is some sort of sexual tension. So I don't tend to get that much into fandoms like, with fic and stuff. LHM, Firefly, and Animorphs are really the only ones. And for Animorphs, I totally ship Jake/Tobias. I'm trying to write a Jake/Tobias fic at the mo, but it's not coming to me yet.

And oh, Firefly. Zoe and Wash are so freaking perfect. Whereas Simon/Kaylee = blah. Jayne/River = not sure if want. Mal/Inara YES PLZ. But Zoe/Wash will be my otp for Firefly forever. Just, so much love for them as a couple, but they're both such fascinating characters on their own, too. Plus Zoe is freaking hot. I know she's not everyone's cuppa, but DAMN GURL.

And oh, cookies. I SERIOUSLY OVERDOSED on sweets at my sister's house; she made a strawberry cheesecake and marble brownies, but oh man, mint chocolate is my desert OTP.

Aw, I usually want some kind of canon backing for serious shipping, but (especially in my main fandom, Metal Gear Solid) I'm a voracious multishipper and will try out just about anything. XD River/Saffron, I want it because River is the only person who can see right through Saffron's bullshit and that means she's the only one who could ever really love her. And Saffron would find that terrifying and aaah it would be so emotionally hot.

I'm not sure if I want Jayne/River either, but I got recs to some pretty convincing fics of it. I guess above all, I like pairings that aren't easy. Or are hopelessly doomed.

gaaah desert, I do not make nearly enough of it /DEPRIVED, BY OWN LAZINESS I've never made cheesecake - always assumed it's way out of my skill range.

Now I need River/Saffron fic! Normally if I go the femslash route with Firefly it's Inara/Kaylee, and post BDM, I can go for some well written Inara/Zoe. But for the most part, in my head canon, the BDM ends slightly differently. ;_____;

I don't know if I could ever read River/Jayne though. I don't want to read Jayne/anyone, lol. Ewe. Plus I feel that consent would be iffy at best, considering.

I like pairings that aren't easy. Or are hopelessly doomed. Now I wonder where you got that tendency from? ;)

Cheesecake isn't really all that hard though. /says the professional, fwiw. Sometimes my idea of what is "easy" to make is a bit skewed, lol.
