Apologies for recent quietness. I've been hovering between somewhere between this big cloud of calm and this big cloud of dread. Also I have been actually Doing Stuff which is usually a good way to not write dj entries about said stuff.
-looking for jobs I could reasonably apply to; there are not many of these. Don't let me apply to a tarot hotline - it will only ruin my life.
-went up to Gwinett to see Tool a few days ago, and came home calm and happy and probably contact-high. It was more of a spectacle than any other concert I've ever been to, with lasers and moments when it looked like there were UFOs landing on the stage, and oh god the music.
-unwilling puppy-sitting and being mad at people; the worst part is that there was a puppy-sitting job I wanted to apply to but can't because being able to drive was one of the requirements. I could strangle the bitch for that.
-worrying about writing, passion, etc, about what it's worth writing, but dude, this is stunningly goddamn stupid given that until Christmas Eve I hadn't been writing much at all since forever. Also the moment it starts being about anyone other than you and your god is the moment it starts failing, at least for me.
-playing the DS version of FFIII; falling for Arc, and for Alus's crush on Arc, before realising how old they were :/ God damn ninty twee. of course a) there is no fandom, and b) what scattered oddments of stuff people have done is almost all about a ship I do not remotely get, and tends to involve rampant misuse of the LHM, which, look, a lot of people do that, I am sure I do it, I've seen one of my favourite writers in my fandom do it (athena_crikey/blinkblink/one of the reasons I have no name seniority), but dear god is there such a thing as doin it rong.
