Daisy is the only person with anything interesting to say about Wikileaks, so go read it; am commenting a lot there too, largely in the direction of nihilism; nobody's side; especially so if the only two sides are 'it's okay to kill foreign nationals who publish things we'd prefer not to be published' and 'feminism is just like theocratic islam so it's okay to rape people'.
Fucking goddamn Set, Set, Set, because what else is an immigrant supposed to believe in?
(obv Set and rape is a whole other ugly can of worms but at least in myths, actions and attempted actions have consequences. not so IRL!)
(apropos-o-a-n, recently I was totally unsurprised to learn that all three of the animals I've had on my keyring for the last several years are sacred to Set. I have a plastic pig, a wooden turtle and a real preserved scorpion in a glow-in-the-dark lump of plastic.)
