almost naptime
While taking a break from prompt matching for the S3, I've just finally finished reading the Manual. There's one sentence close to the end that is eerily like something I wrote into d. several weeks ago. As do so many things, it involves coffee.
I guess there is always going to be some absolute brick wall buried in the depths of all fic exchange spreadsheets; last year the minuscule subcategory that no one seemed to be capable of filling was het porn art; this year it's het fic about Peace Walker. The worst part is that the prompt in question is the most glorious crack theory in the entire draw even given the stiff competition from a time-travel prompt that posits that a certain two characters are really both the same person. Damn.
I don't think I mentioned, but a few days ago while we were out buying milk, M said out of nowhere; "Do you want to move to Pittsburgh?" Obviously the answer is pretty much 'hell yes'. I would rather move to either Boston or Leeds (the latter will be much easier by 2012 due to UK legal whatsits) but M has non-asshole family up in Pittsburgh which makes it easier, and it would be a damn sight better than staying here. We'll be in GA til next December whatever we decide, but hey.
