you know i can't remember if i ever linked you to the stupid house; http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-35113844.html it is in the pretty bit of the trough of bowland where apparently they still think there is a property boom lolololol
the only chance of this selling involves the fact that the house next door is for sale for way more.

the whole thing is just ridic and painful, i mean, it is huge and the layout is on crack but all it has ever been used for is hoarding. the funniest part is the bit that says 'BATHROOM - INCOMPLETE' - i lived there for 15 years, there is over $40k in my current account right now, but that is how it was because someone else decided it just wasn't important for us to have a fully functional bathroom when we were kids
i have started to thikn of it as being much like having lived in someone's unfinished novel for 15 years. it was unbeta'ed, there were no adjectives and there were all these plot twists that didn't go anywhere.

honestly one of the reasons i am cool with being an immigrant is that i had problems with feeling a bit alien in the normal uk - like, little random things like one of my lancs friends and one of my london friends both living in prefabs that had the exact same layout. that used to throw me esp given how weird my base level 'normal' was. in the US at least the normal has no negative connotations for me and it is all shiny and new and i am allowed to gawp at it
i have got a LOT better since i was 18 though. seriously.
