Me: Yeah, all those rich fuckers with offshore bank accounts trying to dodge their taxes. All those huge companies who try to sell us their shit but who don't want to pay their workers the US minimum wage. Aren't they all scum?
^this conversation was really on Monday, and was with someone I am genuinely fond of; what I got today was more of my previous post, from a different person. I ask again, why the fuck am I expected to agree with right-wing anti-immigrant rhetoric? /baffled
(I am too antisocial to know what other immigrants make of this, but I call it the 'good immigrant bad immigrant' game. It is not a very fun game, because everyone always loses.)
I DON'T WORK TOMORROW but god knows if this means I will actually get anything done or not. I have some inexplicably good flow on The Chibific lately and I would love to push to get it done or damn near done before I have to go, though I would also love to finish The Pwp, gah; the trick, I have found, is to not even open my Firefox session, or AIM, but I would really rather not be a total digital shutin, even if all the cool kids have moved to sites I never use. I have irl stuff to do too but srsly i just need to hide in bed with my dog and come out to type stuff every so often.
