I have had a nice few days. Last night we ate wonderful sushi and then went to see Inglourious Basterds, which I loved even more than I expected to; not just because it had a million main characters all of whom were awesome, not just because I have a juvenile fancrush on the French language (even better, I was following the French when and only when it was being used by non-French characters because schoolroom French is like that), not even just because they actually set fire to the fourth wall. It's the little things, sometimes. I want to marry Shosanna, because she is gorgeous and because she was sitting in a cafe reading a copy of The Saint In New York. Don't make me ship her with Simon. Wait, too late.
Grendel is subject to unfortunate renamings depending on what we have been obsessed with lately. For the next little while, he will be The Bear Pup. I think he can cope, somehow.
Other than that, I've mostly been reading, feeling sleepy and being hyperactively obsessed with cyborgs. fail, but a happy one.
