So there goes that...off into places where I can no longer follow it. I've been doing my usual routine of lighting incense, playing something calm (Space Cowboy by Jamiroquai, the original funk version), snuggling my dog, getting in a walk seeing as it's nice out but thankfully not too nice. It was lovely and we met this lovely person called Toni who has three tiny Shiatsus, including two overenthusiastic puppies called Aslan and Lucy. She's called Toni and hasn't been here long herself; she's a German-born American (I've known a few of those before), and made noises about GA being annoying but seemed both homier and churchier than me (which admittedly is not hard). But, fangirl! (Probably not of the pervy variety.) With many puppies! Who would like to be shown our little trail in the woods sometime, because she hadn't yet found it herself!

Coincidentally, I think she's the person M gets constantly mad at for parking their SUV right on the corner of the road. :)

So, home now. I need to stop writing for a while. I am, though, still thinking about my deficiencies and how I lack the depth of experience to even know how constant they are. Last week there were two different beautiful Flashslash entries - a Holmes/Watson and a Starsky/Hutch, these girls write oldskool pairings, isn't that sweet? - which both had fantastically lively, back-and-forth dialogue, and that's something I've been noticing me not doing. On the other hand, context; Fly has opined that in our fandom, people talking like people is OOC. If I do anything any time soon it should be rambling attempts to write longer scenes, longer and more fluid conversations, probably either for something of my own or from FFIII, which I totally haven't loved on enough yet.
