Just got my FFEX prompts; I feel like they've been sent to someone who's the wrong kind of writer, in that they propose actual plots and are not easily workable from the short-and-clever angle.
I think I got mostly settled on one in particular on sight, though I do need to do some canon go-over to hash it out; can't bring the pieces together without knowing the shape of their nooks and crannies, etc. Did I mention my next day off work is probably April 19th? I can do this, because it's not due til May, but it needs more attention span than I have right now. Wherever my own prompts are, I hope they are not being 'oh, crap'ped with such fervour (odds; not great).
