i was being weird earlier and looking at my ff.n traffic breakdowns, which just show which of my pile of stories - some recent, some as many as seven years old - have been viewed most over the last year, and it struck me that the ones I'm most uncomfortable with still being read are the ones that made me feel vulnerable. I kinda want to file them as 'bad' and hope no one looks.
teraninse says:
put the "bad" tag on it? :P
teraninse says:
ff.n?
Thene says:
fanfiction.net
teraninse says:
fanfiction.net?
teraninse says:
you has stuff there? link?
Thene says:
mm. mostly I am just weirded out that one of my stories has, like, as much traffic as all the rest put together and I have NO IDEA WHY. It's about three years old, was only about 1500 words, it is not particularly good, has no sex (it's a little slashy ramble about one character pining over another), and all I can think of is that it has a prominent link on some site SOMEWHERE - i have no idea.
Thene says:
oh ting no like I said some of it is six or seven years old. and oh god, the pretentious. and the FOUL THINGS I DID WITH PUNCUATION.
Thene says:
URGH
teraninse says:

teraninse says:
you are sometimes a silly person.
teraninse says:
I do terrible things with punctuation all the time and you don't despise me for it.
teraninse says:
which one is it? link link link link PLEASE?
Thene says:
WHY?
Thene says:
and no, really, I mean like *juvenile* and *stupid* things I did with punctuation
teraninse says:
tildes?
teraninse says:
well, if it has that much traffic, they have to be seeing something good in it and therefore I'm curious.
Thene says:
okay so i never stooped THAT low. I NEARLY DID once but stopped myself in the second edit.
